COMICS DATABASES

My current projects focus on increasing open access resources relating to British comics. Please follow the links above to access the collaborative project British Comics Database, and my own searchable databases of the British girls' mystery comics Misty (IPC/Fleetway, 1978-1980) and Spellbound (DC Thomson, 1976-78).

British comics did not include creator credits and so researching them is often a difficult task. I hope these resources help you locate that story you can't quite remember, find out more about ones you love, and that it is generally a useful resource for any fans or scholars interested in these lost publications.

These databases are very much a work in progress and so all additional information and feedback is very welcome! I hope one day we can name all the artists and writers and give them the credit they deserve.
